First in Norway with electric buses in ordinary traffic
The buses have saved the climate for 127 tons of CO₂ (global emissions) and the urban area for 546 kg NOx (local emissions) after two years on the road.
New central energy plant reduces CO₂ emissions by at least 75 %
The new central energy plant uses the city’s wastewater water to heat and cool the local swimming pool, City Hall and the service centre. By using locally available and renewable sources, the central energy plant saves the city 506 tonnes of CO₂ a year.

New technologies for energy efficiency and management have been tested in 100 homes, a gym, and a nursing home. And the Blink video system that has now been tested by users in Spain provides for secure communication on different screens.
