Project structure
Today, Triangulum consists of 22 partners, 5 of whom make up the local consortium in Stavanger. The local partners are Stavanger municipality, Lyse AS, Rogaland County Council, the University of Stavanger and Greater Stavanger. The city of Stavanger coordinates the local partnership and acts as the link to the EU. The project is coordinated by Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart and supported by Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum. Stavanger municipality
Stavanger is Norway’s fourth largest city with 134.258 inhabitants. Located on the west coast of Norway, Stavanger is considered one of the leading smart cities in Norway. Vision: Together for a vibrant city.
Lyse AS
Lyse is a group that operates in the energy, telecommunications and infrastructure business areas. The group is owned by 16 municipalities in South-Rogaland, Norway. Its business concept is concerned with enhancing quality of life and competitiveness by developing tomorrow’s infrastructure and unique energy and technical services. The benefit of this is a developing and growing society.
Rogaland County Council
Rogaland County Council is responsible for the administration of the county as well as areas of secondary education, transport, dental health, culture and sports, regional development, business development, cultural heritage and public health.
University of Stavanger
The University of Stavanger, on the South West Coast of Norway, has 12,000 students and 1,600 faculty, administration and service staff. UiS will have an innovative and international profile, and will be a driving force in knowledge development and in the process of societal change.
Greater Stavanger
Greater Stavanger works to create more jobs and a broader business foundation in the Stavanger region. We identify and develop opportunities and our efforts are rooted in the region’s strategic business plan, to ensure that we are delivering on the region’s actual needs and opportunities.
